Bike-In Movie Night, Thursday, November 4th

November's movie is: Easy Riders (a classic!)

Last month we kicked off the Front Range Bar-B-Que/New Belgium Bike-In Movie Night series and had an awesome showing of riders. 49 people rode to the venue, about 25 went for the social ride @5:30pm and the place was packed.

We showed the indy film The Bicyclists and had a very positive response (even though it has a twist at the end). Many thanks to the husband and wife team of…

Boston Qualifying: To do it, you need a schedule designed for your needs

Just had a gal I advised qualify for Boston. Krista Roy cranked it at St. George and qualified! Way to go girl! I am working on getting another athlete qualified. It makes such a huge difference, in attempting a goal this big, to have a training schedule customized to the athlete. Cookie cutter running schedules can give you some framework, but they don't offer the athlete any sort of passion or fight that is… Continue

Tunnel repairs close Gold Camp Road to through traffic

One of the best routes for Aspen viewing, Gold Camp Road, is closed to through traffic. Workers are making mandatory safety improvements and historical improvements to one of Gold Camp's famous tunnels. The road was closed on Monday, Sept. 27, and will open in about six weeks.

Drivers and cyclists can still use Gold Camp, but those traveling westbound from Colorado Springs will have to turn around at FSR 376 (Seven Lakes Road). Eastbound traffic from the Cripple Creek/Victor area will be… Continue
