Apparently "New Bike Day" is a thing in the cycling world, and I got to celebrate it last week.

I have a marathon in approximately 30 days and I’ve run less than 20 miles in the last month. While that sounds crazy and I could give you many excuses why my training is so drastically weak, the truth is that I’ve rarely been prepared for any long race I’ve attempted over the years. Since 2010 the Canada Army Run (est 2008) has been my destination/training highlight race each year. In December I was notified that of the hundreds who applied to be a race ambassador, I was one of 25 selected (and the only Yank) for the 2018 race.
