AdAmAn Club makes 89th trip to summit of Pikes Peak
Thirty-two members of the AdAmAn Club began the trek to the summit of Pikes Peak on Friday, keeping a long tradition alive.
The club ascends Pikes Peak each year to set off fireworks at midnight on New Year's Eve.
The hikers will spend the night at Barr Camp, then scale the last six miles across the treeless face of Pikes Peak on New Year's Day.
