2020 Dion Snowshoes U.S. National Championships

The 2020 Dion Snowshoes U.S. National Championships will be held at the Colorado Mountain College Leadville campus on February 29 and March 1 (approaching quickly!). The race is open to recreational racers via registration through RunReg, and under the auspices of the U.S. Snowshoe Association. CMC hosted the Colorado Cup on January 25 and had a number of HS XC teams enter, including runners from Palmer HS and a team from Cheyenne Mountain HS.

JQRC is thrilled to have Colorado Springs runners (all ages) participate, as snowshoe racing is a perfect opportunity for runners to continue their fitness levels and get competition experience throughout the winter months. The race course is on a beautiful, groomed trail system directly on the campus, and they’ve had an abundance of snow this winter so the trail conditions are outstanding! And who doesn’t want to race at 10,200 feet, right!
