Yeah, I remember thinking I was having a great day on the Incline - climbing strong, but still exhausted - when Jill ripped past me like I was standing still. She was chattering away like it was no big deal. I went to work and told people about this skinny little mountain hippie girl who kicked my ass.

Jeff, continuing to do it should make you faster as long as you don't over do it and beat your body down. I do it all winter.  Use Kahtoola microspikes, YakTrax or something similar if it's icy.  Some of my winter Manitou Incline photos are here.

Less weight = lessens the resistance gravity is exerting !!

Thanks Tim/Jill...  I will certainly keep going..   I am a little addicted, and have to get my early morning climbs in twice a week..    also, the weight is dropping from all this climbing, so that certainly helps!  I'm guessing you can climb throughout most of the winter (major snowstorms aside)?

Hey Jeff ... Jill is right. Stay consistent and your times will come down. Back in the day I trimmed my time by 15 minutes from April to October.

Wow... I have a long way to go..  I just want to break 45 for now :-).  but I'll keep at it twice a week..

Did a double today. Up the Incline 29:50 then jogged back down the Incline. Back up the Incline 34:46 then jogged back down the Barr Trail. Blogged about it on my page if interested.
