Share your goals for 2011 and you'll be entered to win a PikesPeakSports.us T-shirt

Decisions, decisions. One of the great things about living in the Pikes Peak Region is the number of truly great events we have. From the Garden of the Gods 10 Mile Run to the Ascent Cycling Series to the ADT Marathon and every 5K and group bike ride in between.

What events are you going to do this year? Have you set any goals? Tell us what you have planned and how you are training (hey, we might learn something). Everyone who comments here will be in a drawing for a PikesPeakSports.us T-shirt. Happy New Year!

My goal is to finish the Boulder Triathlon series injury free and with some new PRs!
I'm trying to get it together for one good 5K. If the body holds up, I'll aim for bigger game. In the meantime, I just want to run and ride and have fun.
I"m all over the place right now. I'd really like to get consistent on my mountain bike and do well in my age group for some of the Mountain States Cup and Sand Creek Series races this year. BUT I"d also like to see just how fast I can run a 5k. My PR at this distance is 22:20. Breaking 20 min would be awesome. BUT last year I focused on triathlon and wasn't able to participate in all of the events I wanted to so I'd like to do those. BUT I'd also like to maybe try out some off road duathlons. So like I said, I"m all over the place. Main goal this year is to have fun!
My goal is to break 4 hours in the Pikes Peak Ascent and stay injury-free.

Run the Garden 10 mile in 1 hour and 22 minutes.

Break 20 minutes in a 5k.

I would also like to break 4 hours in the ADTM! Possibly qualify for Boston???
Get a job.  Oh then I can't have fun whenever I want.  Just bike, cross country ski, and maybe get to do some more rowing when float season comes, so the family can fish.  Hopefully complete the Ring The Peak Race, and play a lot of golf maybe come professional.  I do have a lot of time on my hands.
I forgot the most important one...climb Pikes Peak with my daughter. Now, if I can just talk her into it.

I'd like to catch the royal Gorge at the peak flows this year. It should be a good one.

This is about whitewater kayaking.

My Goals are to complete Assault on the Peak and the Century ride at the Buena Vista Bike Fest.
I'm determined to do & complete another marathon w/MUCH better results and of course no less than the PP Ascent but preferably the marathon. Working on my cardio & joining BRC Women's Fit Team again as well as running through GofG & doing the Incline. It ALWAYS helps to run w/the Incline Group as well on Sundays.
