Air Academy High School cross country runner Amelia Evans won the ZOOMA Colorado Half Marathon on Saturday on a tough course that began and ended at the Broadmoor Hotel. Evans finished in 1 hour, 36 minutes, 39 seconds, five minutes ahead of second-place Anna Moseley of Castle Rock. Kate Krug of Garden City, Kan., was third in 1:44:08.
In the 10K race, Tiffany Tandy of Denver won in 45:27. Wanda Toro of Lompoc, Calif., placed second in 47:38. Elisa Schauer of Littleton finished third in 47:48.
