There's the Pikes Peak Greenway/Santa Fe Trail along Monument Valley Creek. You can access it downtown or at Woodemen Rd. It's dirt with some small rocks. Let us know how your search turns out.
I was getting ready to recommend the same trail. I run it often starting from Woodmen and heading north into the Air Force Academy property. I have run some of it barefoot and the surface is perfect.

Hey Nora! Thanks for posting. I'm going to assume that you're good to go on streets and sidewalks.
For smooth gravel, it'll be a bit of a drive for you, but you can run for miles on Gold Camp Road. Park in the lot about 1/2-mile above Helen Hunt Falls in Cheyenne Canyon. Also, the Garden of the Gods (yeah, there are a lot of rocks) has some sidewalks and some smooth gravel trails. And Rampart Range Road (begins near Balanced Rock) is smooth gravel. And since you are living out east, I would suggest finding a nice gravel road east of town. I grew up near Calhan and there is something to be said for prairie sunrises and sunsets.
Yes Tim I can run on streets, sidewalks and dirt roads. I can handle small pebbles too. Thanks I will give that trail a try!!
OH yeah I was going to ask about Garden of the gods! Thanks!!
