Interview with Cassie Slade, Half the Sky 5K women's race winner
Cassie Slade, 24, of Highlands Ranch won the Half the Sky 5K on Saturday, Aug. 27 at Doherty High School in Colorado Springs. Slade, who is training for the U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials in January in Houston, finished fourth overall with a time of 18 minutes, 24 seconds.
