Colorado Springs cyclist enjoying a ride in Stratton Open space, then he smelled smoke
Cyclist Ryan Kohler of Colorado Springs was descending the trails in Stratton Open Space on Monday in Colorado Springs when he smelled smoke. Before he knew it, there was fire just off the trail next to him. He said flames popped up quickly in a gusty wind as he bolted down the hill.
