Collecting bicycles for Urban Peak residents at Fill the Shed event

Marc Benning and Daniel Byrd of Urban Peak spoke at the Fill the Shed event at Southside Johnny's Tuesday in Colorado Springs. The event helped raise money and awareness about the need for bicycles for Urban Peak residents. Urban Peak is a shelter for homeless youth, ages 15-21. Bicycles will provide mobility for the residents, helping them to secure employment, increase their social opportunities and have some fun. Anyone interested in donating a bike to Urban Peak can drop it off at 423 E. Cucharras. Call 719-630-3223 for more information, or visit http://urbanpeak.org/.
