Snow and wind forced race organizers to postpone the Running for Rachael 5K until Sunday (March 28). It proved to be a good move. By race time the temperature was in the 40s with no wind and clear skies.
Tommy Manning won with a time of 16 minutes, 32 seconds. Kara Miller captured the women's race - her first win - with a time of 26:05.
The race is a fundraiser for the Rachael's Ribbons of Hope Foundation, which helps in the fight against brain cancer.
