The next Tour of Colorado race is the Excel Sports Sunshine Hill Climb in Boulder on Saturday, May 15.
This 9.14 mile climb has over 3200 feet in elevation gain with the last 3.5 miles on dirt and an average grade of 7.6% with a 23.1% maximum. The Men's course record is 41:19 set by Trent Lowe in 2005 and Mara Abbott set the Women's record of 47:31 in 2009. This long running race is a favorite in the Tour of Colorado series!
The new Superior Morgul Classic is next up in Superior, CO May 28-30 and will feature a return to the old Morgul Bismark course! Lot's of cash at this one!
June 11-13 is the Rocky Mountain Omnium in Glenwood Springs with a total prize list of $9,500!
The Tour of Colorado returns to Boulder on July 10th for the popular North Boulder Park Criterium.
The Salida Omnium returns for the third year as Tour of Colorado race July 30-August 1st. This is also a Rocky Mountain State Games event.
The Pro Cycling Colorado Senior Road Racing Championship will bring a Tour of Colorado race to the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. Sand Creek Sports, Inc. will bring one of its Carmichael Training Systems Summer of Cycling races to the Tour of Colorado.
The $25,000 Rocky Mountain Criterium in Fort Collins is the final 2010 Tour of Colorado race. Held in downtown Fort Collins, this race is the perfect finale!
