Tour of Colorado race director Andy Bohlmann is enjoying the off season, but he hasn't exactly been sitting still.
Bohlmann is working on next year's Tour of Colorado schedule. He reports that the lineup is coming together with the potential of three state championship races in the mix.
Bohlmann has submitted an application to again host the senior road championships at The Sand Creek Road Race, Aug. 14 at the Air Force Academy.
The North Boulder Park Criterium has applied to become the Colorado Senior (ages 19-34) state championship criterium. And the Bob Cook Hill Climb has applied to be the state hill climb championship this year.
Here is what he has so far.
Tentative 2011 Schedule (unless otherwise noted)
April 9: Koppenberg Classic, Superior
May 27-30: Superior Classic, Superior
June 17-19: Western Slope Omnium, Glenwood Springs (confirmed)
July 10: North Boulder Park Criterium, Boulder (confirmed)
July 23: Bob Cook Memorial-Mt. Evans Hill Climb, Idaho Springs (confirmed)
August 14: Sand Creek Road Race, US Air Force Academy (confirmed)
August 20-21: Fort Collins Criterium and Rist Canyon Road Race
