Hey Jeff...Here is a new story about some ultra runners who did their own "Ring the Peak" run. http://pikespeaksports.us/group/roadtrailrunning/forum/topics/how-s...

Great map Mark. This topic is peaking my interest. Hey Jeff, I've been out on the Ute Pass trail. It is a part of the ring the peak system but I think it just puts you out on Highway 24. Not sure.

Right on everyone. I am a little surprised though that nobody mention Ute Pass Trail. I hear that trail is part of "Ring the Peak" trail. Has anyone completed that entire trail???

I found the map - this is Mt. Herman to Woodland Park. I have not tried it - I just mapped it with hopes to do it ;)

I think there is a way up Herman Mtn road over to Woodland Park - I made a map... I'll see where I put it. More to follow.

I've done Rampart Range Road to Woodland Park. It's long and I don't recall a place to refill on water, so bring plenty. We went on a summer weekday. Few cars, but not bad.

I've ridden up Rampart Range a few times and at least when I've done it there have been few vehicles. Not as nice as a trail but still a good ride. I've also ridden up the Santa Fe trail to Monument and then up Mt. Herman. Don't remember the distance but depending on where you would start I think it ends up being longer.

Hey Jeff, it's not a trail but you could take RAmpart Range Rd. It's a dirt road that starts in Garden of the Gods and goes up to Woodland Park and beyond.
