Event Description

Workouts for Triathletes by Triathletes!

That’s right, if you are going to race a triathlon this summer, whether you are a seasoned veteran or getting ready for your first race, these workouts are for you.

Tuesday workouts will be swim/bike while Thursday workouts will be bike/run. You’ll learn how to maximize your fitness and comfort level going from one discipline to the next. These workouts are designed to increase your fitness level and prepare you for the warmer months to come. All workouts will be designed and led by 12x Ironman finisher Kevin Dessart.

Swim workouts will take place in the Recreation Center Pool, bike workouts will utilize your own bike on Recreation Center trainers, and Run workouts will take place on the 1k course directly behind the Recreation Center in Memorial Park.

Feb 22-Mar 31 - Every Tues and Thurs (12 total workouts)

Time: All workouts start at 5:30pm

Free for Rec Center Members / $199 for Non-Members

How Do I Register?
Registration is limited to the first 12 registrants. To register, download the Brick Series Registration Form (PDF) and mail it to or drop off at the address below:

What Should I Bring?
Swim - Suit, goggles, towel, pull buoy and fins.
Bike - Bring your bike as all workouts will be done on the Recreation Centers stationary trainers (Don’t have a bike? No problem! Call (719) 385-5984 to reserve one of the Recreation Center’s spin bikes.).
Run - Bring whatever you like to run in outside. Depending on sunlight, bring a headlamp in case it’s needed.
