Join the fun with the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at our first annual Small Business Gravity Run 5K/10K Fun Run, brought to you by Mr. Biggs Family Fun Center!

Event proceeds will benefit the Colorado Springs SBDC, a nonprofit org dedicated to supporting small business in El Paso and Teller counties through free counseling and low-cost training workshops.

Race starts at 9:00 AM
Why is it called the Gravity Run? It’s all downhill! The race starts at the SBDC Building (at UCCS) to the Mr. Biggs Event Center.

Parking:
All participants should park at the Mr. Biggs Event Center located at 5825 Mark Dabling Boulevard, Colorado Springs, CO 80919. UCCS shuttles will transport you from Mr. Biggs to the SBDC starting line. Shuttles will start running at 7:00 AM.
***Allow 20 minutes for transportation. To allow for sufficient warm-up time near the starting line, please arrive between 7:15 – 7:30 AM.

Costumes are encouraged!
It’s the day before Halloween… be creative! We encourage all participants to dress in your best costume. This means all runners, walkers, dogs, and especially the teams! Prizes will be given for Best Overall Costume and Best Team Costume.

Runners
Runners can choose to run either 5K or 10K distances. Run individually, or form teams of three.

Teams
Businesses are encouraged to form teams of 3 to participate in the race. The fastest combined times of team runners will go on to win the ‘Fastest Company’ award (and bragging rights)!

Not a Runner?
Walkers are welcome to enjoy the scenery along the 5K trail. Strollers and dogs on leash are welcome. If you plan to bring your furry friend, please bring waste baggies!

If you plan to sleep in that day…You can still come celebrate at the after-party! Everyone is welcome to stop by the Mr. Biggs Event Center between 9:30 AM and 1:00 PM. Come congratulate runners, check out the costumes, and stay for a beer. Bring your family and friends and plan to have a great time.

Drinks
We are proud to welcome Bristol Brewing Co. as our sponsor for a *free* beer garden at the Event Center. Come enjoy the atmosphere at Mr. Biggs and sample legendary Bristol brews!

Food and Fun
Light breakfast items will be provided at the Event Center, along with water & Gatorade. Come for the food, music, door prizes, awards, and check out sponsor booths!

Sponsor the Event - Support your Local Small Business Community!
There are still opportunities available to sponsor the event at Gold ($500), Silver ($250) and Bronze ($150) levels. All sponsorship levels include a business booth at the after-party. Have your company logo on T-shirts, race materials and all promotions.
