Event Description

The Run for Rwanda is an event that brings together runners on two continents for an outstanding 5K race and the opportunity to help loosen the grip of poverty on a needy African community. As runners line up for the race in Colorado Springs, runners in Kibali, Rwanda, will also gather for a simultaneous 5K race. Proceeds will fund a Health Clinic in Kibali. Includes a free 1K fun run for kids 10 and under.

Runners may register individually or as part of a team. Also includes a barefoot runner division.

Event features live African music and authentic Rwandan handicrafts for prizes and purchase.
