The Denver Post Ride The Rockies is an annual bicycle tour that takes 2,000 cyclists, assisted by more than 100 volunteers, on a 6 -7 day ride through Colorado’s Rocky Mountains each June.
The 30th Anniversary route highlights some of the most scenic and breathtaking views the state has to offer. Beginning with a loop stage through the iconic Colorado National Monument, cyclists will then venture across the Grand Mesa, Curecanti National Recreation Area, Blue Mesa Reservoir and Royal Gorge Bridge & Park along with climbing Cottonwood Pass and Hardscrabble Pass. Over the span of seven days, cyclists will travel 465 miles and ascend 40,537 vertical feet. All proceeds go to The Denver Post Community Foundation.
Proceeds from Ride The Rockies benefit The Denver Post Community Foundation; all funds raised are returned directly to Colorado nonprofits.
