Run, skip, hop, gallop, lolly gag or moon walk on July 4th with your friends and family to support Palmer Lake Elementary School at the 34th Annual July 4th Fun Run. This event kicks off the 4th of July festivities in the Tri Lakes Area and supports the children of PLES. The gorgeous and fast 4-mile race begins at 7 a.m. on Saturday, July 4 at the Palmer Lake Sante Fe Trailhead and ends in Monument in time for the parade. Transportation is also available back to Palmer Lake following the run.  This family-friendly healthy event will bring the community together once again after the fires.  There is also a kid’s fun run with prizes.
