The Heritage for Hope Classic Charity Golf Tournament is Monday, August 8, 2011 and will benift the Manitou Springs Heritage Center and Rachael's Ribbons of Hope Foundation.

The nonprofit Rachael's Ribbons of Hope was incorporated as a 501.c.3 charity in Nov. 2007 and is dedicated to raising awareness about pediatric brain tumors and funding research through the Brain Tumor Institute for treatments and a cure.  The foundation is in memory of  and continues the dream of Rachael Newton, daughter of the foundation director.  For more information please visit the website at www.rachaelsribbonsofhope.org.

The Manitou Springs Heritage Center opened in August 2009 and is operated by Historic Manitou Springs, Inc.a nonprofit 501.c.3 organization formed in 1998.  Historic Manitou and the Heritage Center are dedicated to eduation and preservation of the history and culture of Manitou Springs.  To find out more please visit the website at www.manitouspringsheritagecenter.org.

The Heritage for Hope Classic golf tournament is being held at the Country Club of Colorado at Cheyenne Mountin Resort Golf Course.  Registration fees are $150 per player, or $550 per foursome.  Player check-in will begin at 12:00pm and a shotgun start at 1:00pm.  Registration provides 18 holes of golf and a complete tournament experience with prizes awarded in various categories following the afternoon of play.

Don't Golf?  A Charity Cookout Dinner and Silent Auction will be held following the tournament in the Country Club's Pavilion by the lake.  Cookout tickets are included with golf registration; non-golfers can join the fun and support both charities by purchasing cookout tickets for $35 per person.
