Event Description

The soon-to-be-open Green Man Taproom & Beer Garden (320 S. Tejon) will host a fund raising event for the American Distance Project, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, in Colorado Springs.

Green Man, a project undertaken by ADP coach Scott Simmons, will host the Green Man Sneak Peek Beer Fest at the Carter-Payne Chapel, which will be the future home of the 50+ craft beer bar set to be open in February of 2014.

The event will feature unique beers from Green Man's future breweries and distributers including New Belgium, Back Country and more. The $35 ticket price covers the beer as well as gourmet food and music for the four-hour event. All proceeds will go to the non-profit American Distance Project in support of the development of American distance runners. The event is limited to 150 participants and tickets can be purchased online at http://www.greenmantaps.com/Greenman/SneakPeek.htm
