DESCRIPTION:The soon-to-be-open Green Man Taproom & Beer Garden (320 
 S. Tejon) will host a fund raising event for the American Distance Pro
 ject, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, in Colorado Springs.\nGreen
  Man, a project undertaken by ADP coach Scott Simmons, will host the 
 Green Man Sneak Peek Beer Fest at the Carter-Payne Chapel, which will 
 be the future home of the 50+ craft beer bar set to be open in Februar
 y of 2014.\n \nThe event will feature unique beers from Green Man's f
 uture breweries and distributers including New Belgium, Back Country a
 nd more. The $35 ticket price covers the beer as well as gourmet food 
 and music for the four-hour event.  All proceeds will go to the non-p
 rofit American Distance Project in support of the development of Ameri
 can distance runners.  The event is limited to 150 participants and t
