The City of Cripple Creek will host its First Annual Mine to Mine 9k Challenge race, starting at the Cripple Creek Heritage Center (across from theMollie Katleen Mine) at 10 a.m., Oct. 13 and ending at the Cripple Creek and Victor Gold Mine.
The course will follow HWY 67 south as it rolls through the century old mining district. HWY 67 will be closed from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The top three men and women finishers will win real gold nuggets. There will also be prizes for age-group winners, drawings and a Beer Garden, Live Band and delicious treats for all runners after the race at the Brass Ass parking lot! 256 E. Bennett Ave Cripple Creek, Colorado.
All registered runners will receive a long-sleeved tech shirt.
Entry Fee: $35 + Active.com fees. Race day sign-up cost is $45. Kids Race is FREE.
