Start of the XTERRA Marathon and Half Marthon at Cheyenne Mountain State Park

Good look at the field in the XTERRA Marathon and Half Marathon. Marshall Thompson of Crested Butte (3:05:12) and Shannon Meredith of Colorado Springs (3:56:53) won the marathon on a cold Saturday morning (Oct. 6, 2012) at Cheyenne Mountain State Park. Kim Baugh won the women's half marathon in 1:47:54. Chad Ackison took the men's half in 1:28:38.
