Logan Wealing of Colorado Springs skipped over an icy course at Cheyenne Mountain State Park to set an overall course record in the Pikes Peak Road Runners' Winter Series No. 1 5K on Saturday. Wealing covered the rugged single track route in 18 minutes, 21 seconds, breaking the old mark of 19:08 set in 2011 by Dan Castaneda. In the women's race, 13-year-old Katie Rainsberger won in 22:12.
