Start of the Classic 10K and Circle of Hope Run

Sean Brown (24,Colorado Springs) was second in 30:13, followed by Matthew Tebo (23, Boulder, 30:19).
In the women's race, Laura Thweatt, 23, of Boulder, set a new race record, clocking 33:28. The old mark was held by Fiona Docherty of Boulder (33:33, 2010). Ellie Keyser, 23, of Fort Collins, ran second in 33:47, followed by Brianne Nelson (31, Fort Collins) 34:03.
