Start of 24 Hours of Colorado Springs (USA Cycling National Championship)
Cyclists in the 24 Hours of Colorado Springs sprinted to their bikes in a Le Mans start at Palmer Park on Saturday, Sept. 29. The race is USA Cycling's 24 Hour National Championship. The riders will negotiate a 13-mile course covering Palmer Park's famous single track. The event ends at noon on Sunday (Sept. 30). The riders and team that cover the most distance will be declared the winners.
