Monument's Laurel Rathbun, 15, gets a win at the Cafe Velo Tri-Lakes Time trial
Laurel Rathbun, 15, a Palmer Ridge High won student won the Junior Women 15-16 title at the inaugural Cafe Velo Tri-Lakes Time Trial on Saturday. Rathbun, one of the most talented young women cyclists in the country, covered the 15.2-mile course in 42:07.32, averaging 21.65 miles an hour. She has a new race team and is looking forward to the U.S. National Cycling Championships in June.
