Michael Claflin, 16 win's Rescue Run 5K
Liberty High School student Michael Claflin, 16, won the Rescue Run 5 K on Saturday in Palmer Park. With temps hoovering in the single digits, Claflin clocked a respectable time of 18 minutes, 58 seconds on a course that was packed with snow and ice. Rochelle Persson, 43, won the women's race with an age-group (40-44) course record time of 21:02. She was sixth overall.
