In the boys' pack at Class 4A Region 4 cross country meet
You have to be fast to get into this race. The top 15 inidviduals and the top five teams qualified for the state cross country meet. Cheyenne Mountain's boys scored 47 points to win the regional championship. They'll be joined at state by Coronado and Mesa Ridge. Mike Cernoia of Pueblo West won with a time of 16 minutes, 5 seconds. Mesa Ridge's Josiah Valenzuela was second in 16:15, followed by Coronado's Jesse Mathews at 16:23.
