So here are the facts. We have a wonderful non profit whose mission is to
provide access to outdoor adventures for all through events and programs that empower individuals, create community and foster a respect for the environment.
In 2012 we hosted over
165 free events with over 5000 participants. Some of our success stories range from empowering a preteen with Autism to understand his life is valuable and his community accepts him and wants him to thrive, to helping a man with multiple sclerosis work with his disability to continue making it to the tops of many of Colorado's 54 14,000 foot peaks!
And the stories don't stop there! Our weekly
Pedal Party has brought families together and created a sense of community that they did not know was possible in our city. We have empowered individuals to get out into nature through hikes, mountain bike rides, and climbing adventures, all the while teaching the amazing value of the planet and what we can do to protect it each and every day. And what this all boils down to is an individual that understands the natural world and their own importance as well as the value of living a healthy more active life.
We are helping countless individuals unleash their adventure and become healthier, more educated citizens that embrace this amazing planet.
