Got out on the road bike today for a much needed and hilly road rode.

I started at my house in Pleasant Valley and headed up Fontmore/Filmore over to where it meets Centennial Blvd. I took Centennial North past Vindicator to where it turns into Woodmen Rd. I proceeded down Woodmen out by I-25 and made a right on to Corporate Center Dr. and then another quick right onto Mark Dabling. Took Mark Dabling down to Rockrimmon Blvd. and took that up to Vindicator. Made a left on Vindicator, past by Ute Valley Park on my left, crossed over Centennial and up Flying W Ranch Rd. Climbed up Flying W and down to 30th St. Took 30th South to Mesa. Up Mesa. Passed by Garden of the Gods on my right and came out on Fontmore. Took Fontmore down to my neighborhood and home.

Total Distance: 24.56 miles
Average Speed: 15.8 mph
Max Speed: 42 mph.

It was a good ride. Felt great to be out seeing how I spent the last week in Alabama. Felt pretty good on the climbs and the flats. Tried to focus on pedaling efficiency.

Tomorrow I've got an early morning run planned in Garden of the Gods.

Here's a map.
