The Earth Day celebration at the Cornerstone Arts Center was the perfect venue for Melissa Lafontaine to tell Colorado Springs residents about Metro Rides and Bike Month +.
The organization's mission statement: Inspiring the Pikes Peak Region’s cycling community through encouraging the use of bicycles as transportation, promoting safe riding habits and decreasing the barriers that the general public perceives to becoming a “cyclist”.
Lafontaine is displaying the 2010 Metro Rides Tour Passport, which provides riders with a punch card they can use to be eligible for prizes when they ride to events and festivals in the Colorado Springs area.
