Area runner Karin Lundin met Kilian Jornet on Sunday at the Pikes Peak Marathon. Jornet, one of the world's most talented mountain runners had just won the Pikes Peal Marathon. Lundin mentioned to him that she had also competed in the marathon and that it was her first.
And that's when Jornet - who really is a nice person - handed her his overall first-place trophy.
"He just gave it to me," Lundin said. "I can't believe it."
