Mark VanderMeer, a high school match teacher at Discovery Canyon Campus, took an early lead and won in 17 minutes, 11 seconds. Lori Stich of Colorado Springs won the women's race in an unofficial 19:58. The race is a fundraiser for the Counseling Department, Athletic Boosters, and Student Scholarships at Discovery Canyon Campus.
