About 150 runners and walkers turned out for the second Knights' 5K Challenge in Palmer Park on Saturday.The event was a fund raiser for the Rocky Mountain Classical Academy.
The husband and wife duo of Ken and Christie Foster of Colorado Springs won the men's and women's races. Ken Foster covered the hilly course in 16 minutes, 37 seconds. Christie finished third overall in 18:24.
Nathan McCrary (18:18) and Everett Johnson (18:38) rounded out the top three in the men's race, while Aubrey Cook (22:13) and Nancy Hobbs (22:41) finished second and third respectively in the women's race.
