It was a fast day at the Sailin Shoes 5K and 10K races. Kenyan born Augustus Maiyo set an overall course record in the 5K with a time of 14 minutes, 47 seconds, while seven age-group records were set.
Sydney Harris, 18, of Colorado Springs, won the women's 5K in 18:31.
In the 10K, Air Force Capt. Brian Dumm, 28, of Colorado Springs, captured the men's race in 32:34. Christie Foster, 23 of Colorado Springs, took the women's race in 38:19.
