Tommy Manning won the tough Run to the Shrine 10K in 39:59 on Saturday in Colorado Springs. Scott Spillman was second, only six seconds off the winning pace. Dan Vega was third followed by Gerald Romeo in fourth.
Kelly Calway set a new course record on her way to the win in the women's 10K. Calway clocked 46:48, beating Connilee Walter's old mark of 48:10. Samantha Wood was second in 48:26.
In the 5K, Carl Arnold won and tied his course record of 21:59, while 11-year-old Jalynn Tabares won the women's 5K in 27:49.
