About 120 runners and walkers braved a cold and rainy morning to put in some miles at the Ruff! Life 5K Run/Walk. The event was a fundraiser for National Mill Dog Rescue, which works to rescue dogs from mistreatment in "puppy mills."
The folks at Mill Dog Rescue did a nice job organizing the ru/walk. There was live music, snacks for the people and treats for the dogs. The organization even brought some dogs for adoption.
This was the first year for this race.
Congratulations to Mill Dog Rescue for hosting a great event and to the runners for turning out on a cold and wet day.
