Colorado Springs-area runners rallied for the Junior League of Colorado Springs on Sunday. A field of about 200 took to Monument Valley Trail for the Reach Your Peak 4 Mile Run, Walk and Stroll, a fundraiser for the Junior League, which provides support for under-priviliged children and women.
John Martin and Paula Amsden of Colorado Springs won the men's and women's races. And Luke Webb and his 2-year-old son Michael were the first to roll across the finish line in the "stroller division."
The Great Harvest Bread Co., was a big hit with fresh coffee and baked goods. And the good hands people from 100% Chiropractic Wellness Center and the Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy were there to do the body work.
