Start of the Pikes Peak Road Ascent 10K. Simon Gutierrez, a three-time winner of the Pikes Peak Ascent (13.32 miles on Barr Trail), too the win in 43:23. Brandy Erholtz won the women's race in 49:35 and placed fourth overall.
