The Pikes Peak Region's running community came out in force on Monday to pay tribute to those injured in the Boston Marathon bombing as well as the event staff that performed flawlessly as the tragedy unfolded. About 300 runners and walkers knocked off a 5K at University Village Shopping Center and rocked out to the sweet tunes of the Inman Brothers Band. Runners signed a giant card for Boston and donated to onefundboston.org (https://secure.onefundboston.org/page/-/donate9.html) which will support the people most affected by the tragic events.
