More than 1,300 help Jack Quinn's Running Club celebrate 5-Year Anniversary
The Jack Quinn's Running Club broke its record for attendance at its 5-Year Anniversary Bash Tuesday in downtown Colorado Springs.
At least 1,300 runners made the 5K circuit and then reported in at Jack Quinn's for a cold beer and music.
The old record of 1,277 was set on June 15 of last year.
It was a night for big numbers with 300 first-time runners joining the club and 34 earning shirts for completing 10 runs.
The band "Tribe" kept the energy level buzzing.
