Jack Quinn's Running Club Christmas Bash Toy/Food Drive
The Jack Quinn's Running Club asked for toys and food for those less fortunate in the Pikes Peak region. The running community delivered on Tuesday, pouring through the doors at City Auditorium to support the Bob Temosse Foundation and Care and Share.
An icy Colorado night did not keep many from running a few miles before heading inside for beer, music and fun with friends.
Besides collecting a mountain of toys and food, the club also presented the Telmosse Foundation, Care and Share, and El Paso County Search and Rescue with checks for $500 each.
Special congratulations to Kerry Page, who became the first Jack Quinn's runner to reach 400 runs!
It was great to see so many smiling faces who gathered to help make Christmas a little brighter for others in our community.
