High Altitude Running Team All-Comers Track Meet

Congrats to Chris Bittinger for organizing the High Altitude Running Team All-Comers Track Meet. About 157 runners of all ages and abilities competed in track events ranging in distance from the 100-meter dash to 3K.
"We had a lot more people come out than I expected for a first-time event," Bittinger said. "Obviously there is a need for it."
Two of the top sprinters in the country, Nike's Jeremy Dodson and Joe Morris from the University of Colorado track team, stopped in for a workout in advance of the Olympic Track and Field Trials later this month in Eugene, Ore.
Dodson has a personal best time of 20.07 seconds in the 200 and is currently seeded fourth in the Olympic Trials. Morris has clocked 20.77.
Bittinger plans to make the All-Comers meet and annual affair.
"We'll be back next year," he said.
