Riders rolled out on the "Joy Ride," a weekly event hosted by Travis Flett from New Belgium Brewing and Steve Hitchcock from the website http://upadowna.com/. The "Cruiser Ride" is open to anybody who wants to have fun.

The bike routes will be slow-paced and easy. Bring your cruiser bike...or anything with pedals. Meet at McCabe's Tavern, 520 S. Tejon, at 5:30 p.m. each Wednesday. The ride begins at about 6 p.m. When you attend five times, you'll be entered to win a sweet cruiser bike from New Belgium. The ride is family friendly. Last Wednesday's ride included a stop for popsicles in America the Beautiful park.
