Norman Mininger of Colorado Springs won the second annual Half on the Fourth in Colorado Springs on Friday, covering the mostly flat course in 1:17:21.
Mathew Drake was second in 1:23:11, followed by Duane Roberson in 1:23:55
In the women's race, Colorado Springs' 6,000 feet of altitude didn't bother California resident Kayla Regulski who set a personal best with a time of 1:36:08. It wasn't an easy win. Regulski spent most of the race reeling in Kayla LaPorte, who finished second in 1:36:34, followed by Liz Lopez at 1:38:48.
