Colorado Springs runner Logan Wealing held off Manitou Springs' Peter Maksimow to win the second race in the Fall Series Sunday at Bear Creek Park.
Wealing charged through the 4-mile cross-country course - and the unique ropes course - in 28 minutes, 41 seconds. Maksimow cruised in at 29:05.
Danielle Kehoe, 23, of Aurora, won the women's race in 34:30.
Colorado Springs runner Rochelle Persson, 42, was second in 35:37.
