Winter finally arrived in the Pikes Peak Region, but that didn't prevent the runners in the Pikes Peak Road Runners' Fall Series from crushing some gravel in the series finale at Palmer Park.

Clare Bar won the women's race and captured the series title with an overall time of 2 hours, 49 minutes, 23 seconds. Kayli Tabares, 13, was second in Sunday's race and finished second in the series (2:53:45). Connilee Walter finished third at Palmer Park and third in the overall series (2:55:35).
In the men's race, the Boulder Running Company's Robby Young mad a clean sweep of the series. He won on Sunday with a time of 46:50, and took the series in 2:17:35.
Justin Ricks was second in the final race and second in the series (2:19:52), followed by Ben Klungtvedt, who finished third in the final and third in the series (2:22:40).
